- HIS House Records is proud to release the 3rd installment of the Soulsville trilogy, 'Live At The Palais Royale/Soulsville III'. This recording was done on May 27 2009 at the historic Palais Royale that has seen the likes of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Sarah Vaughn and in 2002, The Rolling Stones.

The first 2 records 'Soulsville Souled Out 'n Sanctified' & 'Soulsville Rock This House' were produced by the late great Richard Bell who also played Hammond B3 on the records. This 3rd installment is dedicated to Richard Bell, who while a great musician, was an even greater human being. He will always be remembered and is often felt on stage. I thank some of my many influences on this record Muddy, The Wolf, Elmore James, Taj Mahal, John Lee Hooker, Blind Boys, Solomon Burke, Sam Cooke, Bobby Bland, Otis Redding and Hank Williams. All things Southern, with the day to day stories of life and survival, with positive encouragement.

- Live At The Palais Royale/Soulsville III - t has been my pleasure and privilege to work with some of the music industry's finest on this recording and we sincerely hope that you will enjoy this intensive labor of love that went into making this record. From past to present all who I have been honored in meeting and working with have left their stamp on this recording, especially Toronto's own, musician/producer Alec Fraser.

I discovered that all the great R&B and Soul singers that I admired, were influenced by such Gospel greats as The Soul Stirrers, Blind Boys, Mighty Clouds, and Rev. Jumpin’ Jim Jericho. I also realized, writing Gospel music, (apart from the message which is paramount) is the embodiment of all the musical styles. Blues, R&B, Country, and Rock n' Roll. Put all these together with an impacting soulful message of encouragement, God's care for His children and His desire to see us living happy, healthy, productive and successful lives and you’ve got 'GOOD NEWS.... GOSPEL'. It is our desire at HIS House Records to grow into a label committed to releasing uplifting and soul inspiring music. To encourage people to aspire so they may be the very best they can be!
