TRACKS - Roots Radio to Roll Your Stone Over. -
We featured the album in December, and it's still
receiving considerable play. It was mentioned in our Green
Mountain Review of 12/16, where I wrote: "Danny Brooks'
Souled Out 'n Sanctified is one of the most eclectic,
rootsiest and overall one of the very best Gospel albums these
ears have had the pleasure of encountering . ."I gotta tell ya - I really like it quite a lot. At times I
wasn't sure if I wasn't listening to The Band circa
1969 with some
special guests like Ray Charles and Mahalia Jackson.

PLEASANT MICHIGAN -
Yes, I've added your CD "Soulsville" to my playlist
and just last Sunday night I played two tracks from it during
my
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday special in which I spin
three hours of gospel music during my blues time slot. Your
CD was played amidst the Blind Boys of Alabama, Dixie
Hummingbirds, Rev. Gary Davis, Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
It's a great CD, thanks for sharing it with me and my
listeners.
