Texassippi Soul Man Danny Brooks n' Lil Miss Debi in Florida Performance Interview Tampa Bay's Morning Blend (WFTS-ABC)
Texassippi Soul Man Danny Brooks and Lil Miss Debi had a great time with Carley and Natalie on Tampa Bay's Morning Blend WFTS-ABC, Tuesday morning where they kickstarted the Florida leg of their winter / spring tour! We would like to thank the Morning Blend for being so kind and gracious, and also for including footage from Christopher Darton's documentary Hardworking Man: The Music and Miracles of Danny Brooks!
This Video was shot coming south on I93, early June ‘17, heading to Vegas and in the old downtown area of Vegas and then heading to Hatch NM and then on I290 east heading to Fredericksburg TX. It was shot on Debi’s iPhone 7 driving 65mph. We first put the music of One More Mile from CD This World Is Not Your Friend and it’s on the ‘What’s New’ Page. My old friend and sax-man extraordinaire Jim Lawlis added a horn line and section and it smokes
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, ONLY BELIEVE!
Welcome to Danny Brooks' new Texassippi Soul Man site! – Hello and welcome to my site. Please take the time to surf my videos and discography, which includes my release Texassippi Soul Man. I grew up listening to Hank Williams, Reverend Jumping Jim Jericho and Taj Mahal when older brother Greg turned me onto Solomon Burke, Joe Tex, and Bobby Blue Bland, and that laid the bedrock for my writing and vocal styling. CBCRadio: Ringo Starr once said, that “you’ve gotta pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues”, then Danny Brooks has enough life experience to share with a dozen fledgling performers. But more importantly, he has uncommon chops as a musician and songwriter. Anyone who cares at all about music - and I mean REAL music that comes from the soul - should make themselves aware of Brooks winning blend of blues, R&B, and Stax". -Mark Rheaume

The book is equal parts biographical, inspirational. motivational with a look at the music industry and overcoming addictions, as well as experiencing the miraculous. It is a heartwarming story that mixes humor to offset heavy subject matter and shows that the underdog can overcome and become a winner from the most difficult of circumstances. It is Brooks' belief that no matter who you are, what you've done, how far down you've sunk and how bad you may feel about the present, there is absolutely nothing that God and you can't work out together and get back on a winning, happy and peaceful track. You may purchase your copy from various online book outlets such as Amazon, Kobo, Sony Make Believe, Google etc.
Danny Brooks has completed ‘Miracles For Breakfast / The Journey Continues’ and 'Miracles For Breakfast/The Lonely Battle' slated for a release 2017. These books will be the first of a series of 7 books Danny and Debi have planned for the Miracles for Breakfast series...
